The AMMPF was founded with a clear conviction: Mexico needed an institution capable of formalizing, supporting, and elevating Functional Medicine with the scientific rigor it deserves. We are the first national association dedicated to accrediting physicians and specialists who apply a preventive, integrative, and evidence-based approach in their clinical practice.

The AMMPF was founded with the mission of creating a space where Mexican physicians who share this vision can find community, academic support, formal accreditation, and the tools necessary to transform their practice. We believe that a well-trained physician, integrated into a strong professional network, can create the greatest possible impact on patients, communities, and the healthcare system of our country.
Today, the association includes affiliated physicians throughout Mexico, institutional partnerships, and an unwavering commitment to evidence-based medicine. This is only the beginning.

To accredit, educate, and strengthen Mexican physicians and specialists in the practice of Preventive and Functional Medicine by promoting standards of clinical excellence, continuous scientific education, and a medical approach centered on addressing the root cause of disease and the comprehensive optimization of health.

WHY WE EXIST
Mexico is facing a chronic health crisis. Metabolic, hormonal, and inflammatory diseases affect millions of people who often receive treatments that manage symptoms without addressing underlying causes. The AMMPF exists to change that paradigm — by educating the physicians Mexico needs and building the standard of care that patients deserve.
