The National Institute of Perinatology (INPer) ‘Isidro Espinosa de los Reyes’ has inaugurated its 39th Annual Meeting \u2014 the country’s most important scientific event dedicated to maternal and newborn health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In her opening address, INPer Director General Ana Cristina Arteaga G\u00f3mez invited attendees to make the most of the exchange of experiences and knowledge, with the shared objective of improving patient outcomes. ‘Our purpose is for INPer’s medical excellence to reach every corner of Mexico through top-level training that strengthens medical care during the gestational, neonatal, and post-reproductive stages, ensuring a human rights-based approach for our patients,’ she stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over three days of hybrid activities (in-person and virtual), national and international specialists gathered to present the most relevant advances in medical care for pregnant women and newborns in Mexico. Under the theme ‘Perinatal Health: Innovation, Rights and Quality Care,’ this year’s meeting highlighted how technology and human warmth must work together to save lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Topics included new protocols to prevent complications during pregnancy and childbirth, the use of artificial intelligence and advanced diagnostics to detect diseases before birth, advances in fetal surgery and maternal-fetal medicine, and challenges in obstetric care for patients with comorbidities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
